  • Perform formal safety audits and document findings, observations, responsible actions, and closure requirements.
  • Develop and implement site-specific safety procedures, protocols, and improvement programs aligned with project risks.
  • Monitor day-to-day construction activities to confirm compliance with UAE occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, near-misses, and unsafe events using structured root cause analysis methods.
  • Prepare investigation reports and recommend corrective and preventive measures based on identified causes.
  • Track agreed actions through completion and verify that corrective measures effectively address the original risk.
  • Deliver safety briefings, awareness sessions, and training programs for employees, contractors, and site personnel.
  • Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for new activities, equipment, work methods, and project phases.
  • Review safety performance data, leading indicators, incident trends, and recurring observations to identify improvement priorities.
  • Work with project and site management to integrate HSE considerations into construction planning and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor correct selection and use of personal protective equipment and other site safety controls.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, inspection documentation, incident files, audit results, statistics, and compliance reports.
  • Escalate serious safety concerns promptly where immediate management intervention is required.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities, consultants, contractors, and other external stakeholders on HSE matters when necessary.
  • Support environmental compliance activities and help monitor site practices that may affect waste, emissions, pollution prevention, or resource management.
  • Promote practical improvement initiatives that strengthen workforce awareness and reduce recurring safety risks.
  • Provide HSE guidance during high-risk construction activities and changing site conditions.
Ideal Profile

Previous exposure to construction, industrial, infrastructure, or similar operational environments is important. Candidates should be experienced in site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, hazard assessments, corrective action management, and workforce training.
