The Safety Health and Environment Advisor will provide visible HSE leadership across active project sites, helping operational teams manage hazards before they lead to incidents, delays, regulatory issues, or environmental impacts. The role combines field inspections, compliance monitoring, incident investigation, workforce engagement, performance analysis, and practical risk reduction. Working closely with site management, contractors, operational teams, and external stakeholders, the advisor will help embed safety into daily construction activities rather than treating it as a separate administrative process. Reliable HSE oversight will support safer work practices, improved regulatory compliance, stronger project governance, and continual improvement in site performance.
Candidates should have at least 7 years of professional experience in safety, health, and environment roles involving significant site supervision responsibilities. Previous exposure to construction, industrial, infrastructure, or similar operational environments is important. Candidates should be experienced in site inspections, safety audits, incident investigations, hazard assessments, corrective action management, and workforce training. Strong knowledge of UAE and GCC occupational health and safety regulations is required, together with practical understanding of safety management systems and established international HSE practices. Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualifications are preferred. Familiarity with ISO 45001 will provide additional value, particularly for candidates experienced in structured safety management systems and audit environments. The role also requires strong analytical capability, confident decision-making during high-pressure safety situations, accurate record management, and the ability to communicate effectively with personnel from different technical and cultural backgrounds.
