Job summary

Wishpond is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our UAE finance team in Dubai. The role focuses on cash management, reconciliations, multi-entity intercompany allocations, and journal entries, with an emphasis on automation and AI-assisted workflows.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of accounting experience, a solid IFRS background, and proficiency with cloud accounting platforms like Xero.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of accounting experience in SaaS or multi-entity environments.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and accrual-basis accounting.
• Proficiency with Xero or similar cloud accounting platforms.
• Ability to meet deadlines during compressed month-end close windows.
• AI-first mindset with a focus on automation.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash balances across all entities.
• Perform bank matching and Xero reconciliations.
• Manage payment setups including AP, contractor, and affiliate payments.
• Oversee virtual credit card management and entity coding.
• Prepare senior lender certificates and maintain master bank reconciliations.
• Manage multi-entity intercompany allocation models.
• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, prepaids, and revenue reclasses.
• Conduct variance analysis and software subscription expense analysis.
• Handle quarterly GST preparation and filing.
• Support annual audits and quarterly consolidations.
• Implement AI-assisted workflows and automations to improve finance operations.
