Job summary

PPOAR in Dubai seeks an experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The role covers day-to-day financial operations, AR/AP, payroll, budgeting, and month-end close, with attention to accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years in a similar role, and preferably CPA/CMA. IFRS knowledge and proficiency in QuickBooks are advantageous; open to dynamic professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• CPA/CMA certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards is a plus.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts receivable/payable, payroll and budgeting.
• Analyze financial data and create reports on performance and forecasts for senior management.
• Monitor revenue and expenditure trends to ensure accurate budget forecasts.
• Develop systems to collect, analyze, and report financial information accurately and timely.
• Prepare month-end closing reports with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with local laws regarding taxes, accounting standards and regulations.
• Assist with audits of internal processes as required.
