Job summary

Betting Hero is seeking a Dubai-based accounting professional to manage full-cycle AP/AR, month-end close, and policy enforcement. You will support audits, reporting, and cross-functional projects, while applying AI-enabled workflows to improve processes.

Requirements include 2–3+ years of accounting experience, NetSuite proficiency, and a Bachelor's in Business/Accounting/Finance. High standards of discretion and autonomy are expected in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of hands-on accounting experience (GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries)
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• High proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting, or Finance
• Familiarity with Claude and using AI to drive productivity
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong accountability and autonomy

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including invoicing, payments, collections, and cash application
• Support month-end close processes such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, prepaids, and accruals
• Administer the expense policy by reviewing submissions and enforcing compliance
• Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Contribute to internal reporting and quarterly deliverables
• Support tax and regulatory compliance projects
• Participate in Finance automation projects to design and refine AI-powered workflows
• Support the development and maintenance of SOPs and internal policies
• Partner with cross-functional teams on various business projects
