JOB PURPOSE

This role is accountable for achieving budgeted revenue, profit, and customer growth targets through the effective management of route operations. Leading the route team, the position ensures reliable delivery of the company's products and services to maximize customer satisfaction and retention — driving sustainable sales and profitability. Key to this is analyzing and monitoring route performance, developing and implementing corrective plans where needed, tracking revenue and margin levels, and identifying market opportunities to grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Set and clearly communicate sales targets and objectives to the route team.
• Coach, motivate, and support route teams to achieve their individual and collective targets.
• Manage team performance to meet customer base goals, maximizing revenue and profit from existing customers while safeguarding company assets and ensuring safety.
• Plan and execute the assigned route and coverage plans.
• Ensure vehicles are used cost-effectively, minimizing driving time and maximizing delivery time to exceed customers' distribution and service demands.
• Conduct regular market surveys to assess route efficiency and refine plans as needed.
• Continually identify additional revenue opportunities with existing and prospective customers.
• Carry out daily market visits to evaluate the sales and distribution network and monitor market trends and activity.
