Job summary

Join the FIVE Tribe as an IT Specialist to deliver exceptional experiences across our award-winning luxury destinations. You will support hardware, software, and networks, configure systems, manage servers, and drive security and reliability in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

We seek a proactive leader with 6–8 years of supervisory IT experience in the UAE, a Bachelor's in CS/IT, and certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or MCSA.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6-8 years of supervisory IT experience in a high-volume UAE environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology would be advantageous.
• Proven track record as an IT Specialist in hotel or hospitality settings.
• Hands-on knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware and software.
• Experience with troubleshooting, and familiarity with hotel-specific applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide next-level technical support to staff and guests for hardware, software, and networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Set up and configure computer systems, printers, and related equipment.
• Respond to support tickets and document issues and resolutions.
• Monitor and maintain networks, ensuring connectivity, performance and security.
• Implement network security measures and conduct regular security audits.
• Install and maintain servers, switches, routers and other devices to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to improve connectivity and performance.
• Perform routine system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Work with stakeholders to define project requirements and allocate resources.
• Research and recommend new technologies to enhance IT capabilities.
• Ensure milestones are met and report progress to Head of Department.
• Educate and train staff on IT security and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware, software, licenses and warranties.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 6-8 years of Supervisory Experience in aHigh-Volume Environment within the UAE in a Specialised IT Role.
  
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or a related field would be advantageous.
