Job summary

SteerAI in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Robotics Simulation Engineer to advance our cutting‑edge simulation platform for autonomous ground vehicles. You will work with virtual worlds to create, test, and emulate robot components in simulation, shaping the validation pipeline and contributing to autonomous solutions.

You will collaborate with the team to implement features, test experiments, and document technical specifications and tutorials.

Qualifications

• Experience in simulation and/or game development.
• Experience integrating engines with robotics solutions.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling for robots and worlds.
• Comfortable with Linux, Docker and Git.
• Proactive team player and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Develop modular and scalable simulation platform for robotic autonomous ground vehicles.
• Use virtual worlds to create autonomous solutions and test robot components in simulation.
• Test, measure, and analyze behavior of robot components in simulated environments.
• Contribute to decisions addressing simulation challenges and validation pipeline.
• Collaborate with software integration to implement autonomous platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain technical documentation.
