Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Material Inspector (Roads & Infrastructure) to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role focuses on site inspection and quality control for civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with project specifications and proper MIR handling.

You will verify documentation, perform tests, and maintain alignment with quality standards while coordinating with the project team and ensuring safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in roads and infrastructure.
• Experience with MIR and quality control procedures.
• Knowledge of HSE standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepares inspection reports, test reports, and site records in accordance with project quality procedures.
• Performs civil and structural material tests, including soil compaction, moisture content, aggregate gradation, concrete slump, and compressive strength tests.
• Inspects civil and structural materials delivered to the site, verifying quantities and technical compliance.
• Processes Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and signs them off according to project procedures.
• Monitors project quality control procedures and coordinates inspection documentation for project handover.
• Communicates site progress and quality information regularly to the project team.
