Qualifications

• Proven experience in metal fabrication for industrial or heavy construction environments.
• Hands-on ability with cutting, fitting, grinding and assembly of metal parts.
• Experience repairing and maintaining plant structures and equipment.
• Ability to read basic fabrication drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools, procedures, and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair metal structures and equipment used in RMC plants.
• Perform cutting, measuring, marking, bending, grinding, fitting, and finishing of metal materials.
• Carry out repair and modification works on plant structures, chutes, hoppers, conveyors, platforms, guards, and other components.
• Read and interpret basic fabrication drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
• Prepare and align metal components for welding and assembly.
• Coordinate with welders, maintenance technicians, and plant operators during repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure proper dimensions, alignment, and quality.
• Use fabrication tools and equipment safely, including cutting machines, grinders, drills, and measuring tools.
• Support preventive and breakdown maintenance activities as required.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe working practices at all times.
