Job summary

Confidential Company in Dubai seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs for a heavy manufacturing environment. You will ensure safety and compliance with HSE standards, optimize CMMS/SAP workflows, and manage plant shutdowns and spare parts.

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies.
• Solid background in heavy manufacturing industry (preferred Ready-Mix).
• Solid knowledge about industrial refrigeration applications like ice plants and chillers.
• Proven experience in CMMS and ERP (preferred SAP).
• Proven understanding of control and instrumentation systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge about lean manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that machines and personnel are working safely and that all operating and maintenance policies align with HSE standards.
• Set the preventive and predictive periodic plans and programs of maintenance and supervise execution.
• Troubleshoot the technical breakdowns for the equipment and define the root causes.
• Plan and manage plant shutdowns, major replacements, and upgrade projects.
• Ensure the availability of spare parts and maintenance materials in the warehouse, preparing requisitions for purchases as needed.
• Plan, prepare, and set the scope of works for required services and external repairs; follow up and conduct acceptance tests upon completion.
• Control the maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
• Assign manpower across shifts to balance department performance with production demands.
