Role Context The Revenue Manager drives commercial performance across the Rooms division by determining how inventory should be priced, positioned, and distributed across different customer segments and booking channels. The role supports both Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal, requiring a strong understanding of luxury resort demand patterns, business mix, distribution economics, market conditions, and pricing behavior. The position combines detailed analytical work with broader commercial strategy. By using revenue management technology, competitive intelligence, distribution data, and demand forecasting, the manager helps ensure the right room is offered to the right customer at the right price and through the most effective channel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement room revenue management strategies across Atlantis, The Palm and Atlantis The Royal.
  • Maximize available room revenue by applying appropriate pricing, inventory, and selling strategies.
  • Analyze booking pace, demand patterns, market conditions, and historical performance.
  • Adjust pricing and inventory controls according to changes in demand and business mix.
  • Identify revenue opportunities across available customer segments and distribution channels.
  • Apply revenue management best practices to support stronger occupancy, average rate, and total room revenue.
  • Conduct competitive research to understand pricing movements, positioning, market behavior, and changing demand.
  • Perform industry benchmarking to support pricing and commercial strategy decisions.
  • Use Revenue Management Systems to evaluate demand and recommend pricing actions.
  • Work with platforms such as IDeaS to improve forecasting, pricing, and inventory decisions.
  • Monitor rate shopping tools to compare competitor pricing and market positioning.
  • Ensure Property Management Systems are used effectively to support accurate revenue management decisions.
  • Optimize performance across e-channels, Direct Connect platforms, GDS, and other distribution channels.
  • Monitor channel production and evaluate whether each distribution source is contributing appropriate value.
  • Analyze business mix and adapt channel strategy according to each property 's requirements.
  • Track fair market share and take corrective action where performance falls below competitive potential.
  • Identify opportunities to exceed market share through improved pricing, inventory, and distribution decisions.
  • Review channel costs, booking behavior, and production when evaluating distribution performance.
  • Support development of short-term and long-term room pricing strategies.
  • Provide commercial recommendations based on demand forecasts and market intelligence.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams on campaigns designed to reach the right customer segments.
  • Provide pricing and demand insights that support marketing campaign planning.
  • Help determine appropriate timing, positioning, and market focus for commercial initiatives.
  • Maintain strong coordination with Reservations, Sales, Marketing, Front Office, Finance, and other relevant departments.
  • Prepare revenue performance reports and communicate important trends to leadership.
  • Monitor pickup, pace, occupancy, average room rate, market share, and other relevant revenue indicators.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented revenue strategies and adjust where required.
  • Ensure rate structures and selling strategies remain aligned across relevant systems and channels.
  • Identify system or distribution gaps that may cause missed revenue opportunities.
  • Support accurate forecasting and budgeting for the Rooms division.
  • Maintain awareness of luxury hospitality market trends affecting Dubai and relevant source markets.
  • Coach and support colleagues involved in revenue management activities.
  • Promote accountability and a strong commercial mindset within the wider team.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in pricing processes, reporting, forecasting, and distribution practices.
Ideal Profile

The successful candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a Revenue Manager or comparable hotel revenue management role, ideally within a luxury five-star hotel or resort. A bachelor 's degree in Hospitality Management, Finance, or another relevant discipline is preferred. Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability are essential because the role requires frequent interpretation of demand patterns, competitive pricing, channel performance, business mix, and market trends. Candidates should have practical experience using Revenue Management Systems such as IDeaS, together with rate shopping tools and channel management platforms. Familiarity with PMS technology, e-commerce distribution channels, Direct Connect systems, and GDS environments is also important. The preferred candidate should understand pricing strategy, demand forecasting, inventory controls, distribution performance, market share analysis, and luxury hotel business mix. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are required because recommendations must be understood and acted upon by Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Operations, and senior commercial teams. The role also requires the ability to coach, motivate, and inspire colleagues while maintaining high levels of performance and accountability.
