Job summary

Confidential Company in the UAE is seeking a proactive Retail Supervisor to oversee day-to-day store operations, lead the sales team, and ensure exceptional customer service. You will maintain visual merchandising standards and monitor stock while driving sales performance and ensuring smooth store operations.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of retail experience, including leadership responsibilities, and a strong focus on customer service and communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Experience in supermarkets, hypermarkets, fashion retail, electronics, lifestyle, or FMCG retail is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the retail store and ensure efficient workflow.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
• Monitor staff attendance, performance and work schedules.
• Ensure the store is clean, organized and visually appealing in line with merchandising standards.
• Assist customers with product inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate inventory replenishment and minimize stock discrepancies.
• Conduct regular stock counts and support inventory audits.
• Ensure accurate cash handling, POS transactions and end-of-day reconciliation.
• Analyze sales performance and recommend strategies to improve revenue.
• Train new employees on company policies, customer service and product knowledge.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations and operational procedures.
• Prepare daily and weekly sales and operational reports for management.
