Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Retail Strategy Leader in the UAE to develop and implement retail strategies aligned with company objectives. You will analyze sales performance, customer trends, market conditions and competitor activity to identify opportunities for revenue growth.

Collaborate with merchandising, marketing, operations, e-commerce and sales teams; conduct market research, monitor KPIs and present insights to senior management to drive profitability and channel expansion in the UAE market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in retail strategy or related roles.
• Strong understanding of retail and e-commerce business models.
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of sales, pricing, merchandising, and customer behavior.
• Good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• UAE retail or GCC market experience is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement retail strategies aligned with company objectives.

• Identify opportunities for revenue growth, market expansion, and improved profitability.
• Develop strategies for product assortment, pricing, promotions, and sales channels.
• Monitor retail KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
• Work closely with merchandising, marketing, operations, e-commerce, and sales teams.
• Conduct market research to understand customer preferences and changing market trends.
• Support the development of new retail channels, products, and business initiatives.
• Evaluate the performance of existing stores, channels, and commercial activities.
• Develop action plans to improve sales, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Present strategic recommendations and business insights to senior management.
• Monitor competitors and identify potential risks and opportunities in the UAE market.
