Job summary

Minimalist.ae, a Dubai-based luxury brand, seeks a Retail Sales Executive to engage customers in our UAE stores and build lasting relationships through personalized service. You will know customer needs, showcase products, and tailor recommendations to match their preferences.

In this role you will drive sales, explain promotions, maintain brand standards, and contribute to a premium in-store experience across our expanding UAE network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer-facing sales within the UAE luxury/watch or jewelry sector.
• Excellent communication in English and Arabic.
• Ideally degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar; sales certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers, building rapport and providing product information.
• Approach and assist customers, understand needs, recommend products, and close sales.
• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Explain promotions and discounts to increase sales using available tools.

With four stores now open in the UAE, we focus on simple yet sophisticated designs, with specifically our Arabic numeral watches being known for their timeless appeal. Minimalist believes in simplicity and use only the finest materials to produce beautiful and durable items, combining elegant design with excellent quality.

The Role:

As Retail Sales Executive, you will be in direct touch with our customers on a daily basis across our stores in the UAE. We don’t sell - we forge relationships. You will get to know our customers’ demands in detail in order to showcase the product(s) that will most closely fit to what they’re looking for. Every person that comes to visit our store is important to you, regardless of whether they’re on a spending spree or just window-shopping.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and engage customers, providing detailed product information and building rapport with the customers.
• Actively approach and assist customers, answer questions, understand their needs and recommend products tailored to their preferences, and convince customers to finalize a purchase.
• Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Increase sales through explaining promotions, special offers, discounts, and other sales tools that the business is utilizing.
• Independently keep track of sales records, coordinate with respective departments, and optimize performance.
• Uphold the brand’s standards of excellence in every customer interaction.

Requirements:

As an ideal candidate, you will have:

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in customer-facing sales roles within the UAE in luxury, watches, or jewelry;
• Ideally a relevant academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar;
• Ideally relevant certification in sales management from accredited providers;
• Outstanding communication skills in English;
• Outstanding communication skills in Arabic.
