Job summary

Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Retail Operations professional to support the definition and execution of the retail value proposition. You will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure procurement framework compliance, and align retail activities with the museum’s brand, visitor experience, and commercial objectives.

• Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management and retail service provider coordination.
• Ability to review retail product assortments, pricing structures and merchandising standards.
• Understanding of retail branding, merchandising and promotional activities in collaboration with Marketing.
• Ability to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for retail operations.
• Ability to monitor retail performance, prepare reports and support commercial targets.
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to identify process improvements and ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards and best practices.

Job description

To support the definition and execution of the retail value proposition, service offerings, and promotional strategies by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with procurement frameworks and SOPs, and contributing to the alignment of retail operations with ZNM’s brand, visitor experience, and commercial objectives, thereby enhancing departmental effectiveness and organizational impact.

Responsibilities:

Shared Activities:

• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities related to the role at the request of the direct manager
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Demonstrate compliance to organization's values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
• Comply with all OSH policy, procedures, and relevant legalizations that are applied in DCT.
• Report of any incident, near misses, occupational illness, unsafe practices, and conditions immediately to the concerned person.
• Protect yourself and fellow workers from any OSH hazards in the workplace, where applicable.
• Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment PPE, where required.
• Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures.
• Assist with the preparation of risk assessments, if required.
• Prevent creating any hazards and risks to yourself, co-workers, and to the workplace.
• Cooperate with OSH Officer to maintain a safe and healthy workplace at DCT.
• Participate actively in the OSH program instituted by the DCT and in case of emergency.
