Job summary

Clutch in Dubai is seeking a dynamic Retail Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer to join the Retail Design Team. You will develop kitchens and wardrobes within a showroom environment, collaborating with Sales to manage pricing and contract flow.

This design-driven role includes ~30% client-facing presentation, with technical follow-up, site coordination, and installation support to ensure design intent is realized. The role requires proven retail design experience (2+ years), strong AutoCAD and rendering

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail design (kitchens, wardrobes, furniture showrooms) with minimum 2 years.
• Client-facing presentation experience.
• Site supervision and installation follow-up experience.
• Strong knowledge of Metron and/or Virtuo.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills; good knowledge of Photoshop.
• Rendering software proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Design & Project Development: translate client needs into high-quality design concepts aligned with showroom standards; develop kitchen and wardrobe projects with layouts, finishes, materials, and functional solutions; create moodboards, concept visuals, and project presentations; prepare technical drawings and documentation.
• Client Presentation & Design Support: present proposals clearly; illustrate showroom products and customization options; support the Sales Executive during client meetings without handling pricing or sales closure.
• Showroom Presence & Client Interaction: maintain professional presentation and appearance; ensure strong client interactions and showroom experience.
• Site Management & Installation Support: coordinate with installation team during site management; ensure on-site execution matches approved designs and drawings; resolve issues while preserving design intent; ensure client satisfaction through quality control.
• Orders & Manufacturer Coordination: prepare and transmit orders to manufacturers for cabinets and components; ensure accurate measurements and configurations; coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Installation teams and keep records.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer to join the Retail Design Team and will be responsible for the design development of kitchens and wardrobes within a showroom environment. The role works in close collaboration with the Sales Executive, who manages pricing, negotiations, and contract closure.

This is a design-driven role, with approximately 30% client-facing presentation responsibility, combined with technical follow-up, site coordination, and installation support, ensuring full consistency between design intent and final execution and a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Project Development

• Understand client needs and translate them into coherent, high-quality design concepts aligned with brand positioning and showroom standards
• Develop kitchen and wardrobe projects, including layouts, compositions, finishes, materials, and functional solutions
• Create moodboards, concept visuals, and project presentations
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and complete project documentation

Client Presentation & Design Support

• Present design proposals to clients in a clear, professional, and engaging manner
• Illustrate showroom products, technical features, and customization options
• Support the Sales Executive during client meetings, without handling pricing, negotiations, or sales closure

Showroom Presence & Client Interaction

Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills

• Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance
• Show a high level of attentiveness to clients needs and expectations
• Create a welcoming, professional, and trust-driven showroom experience

Site Management & Installation Support

• Support and coordinate with the installation team during site management and installation phases
• Ensure on-site execution matches approved designs and technical drawings
• Resolve site-related issues while respecting original design intent
• Ensure final client satisfaction through quality control and supervision

Orders & Manufacturer Coordination

• Prepare and transmit orders to manufacturers for cabinets, accessories, and technical components
• Ensure accuracy of measurements, specifications, materials, and configurations
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Installation teams Keep accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
