Job summary

ITQAN KITCHENS in Ras Al Khaimah invites an experienced Interior Designer to bring kitchen, wardrobe and furniture concepts to life. You will turn client requirements into accurate production-ready drawings, including 2D plans, elevations and sections for production.

You will collaborate with carpentry and production teams, take site measurements, select materials and finishes, and present designs that meet high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Kitchen Wardrobe Dressing or Furniture Design.
• Strong knowledge of technical and production drawings.
• Excellent understanding of measurements, dimensions, materials and construction details.
• Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into functional designs.
• Portfolio of previous work is required.

Responsibilities

• Design Kitchens, Walk-in Closets, Dressings according to client requirements.
• Prepare professional 2D plans, elevations, sections and detailed drawings for production.
• Prepare clear and accurate technical drawings for carpenters and factory production.
• Develop complete designs from initial concept to final production drawings.
• Coordinate with the carpentry production team to ensure drawings are practical and accurate.
• Take site measurements when required and translate them into precise drawings.
• Select and specify suitable materials, finishes, colors, accessories and hardware.
• Prepare detailed designs and presentations for clients.
• Make revisions based on client and production requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, sales team and production team throughout the project.
• Ensure all drawings and designs meet professional standards and project requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design Kitchens Walk-in Closets Dressings according to client requirements
• Prepare professional 2D plans elevations sections and detailed drawings for production
• Prepare clear and accurate technical drawings for carpenters and factory production
• Develop complete designs from initial concept to final production drawings
• Coordinate with the carpentry production team to ensure drawings are practical and accurate
• Take site measurements when required and translate them into precise drawings
• Select and specify suitable materials finishes colors accessories and hardware
• Prepare detailed designs and presentations for clients
• Make revisions based on client and production requirements
• Coordinate with clients sales team and production team throughout the project
• Ensure all drawings and designs meet professional standards and project requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in Kitchen Wardrobe Dressing or Furniture Design
• Strong knowledge of technical and production drawings
• Excellent understanding of measurements dimensions materials and construction details
• Proficiency in relevant design software such as AutoCAD SketchUp 3ds Max or similar
• Creative eye with strong attention to detail
• Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into functional designs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience working directly with carpenters production teams is a strong advantage
• Portfolio of previous work is required
