Job summary

Clutch, a Dubai-based luxury interiors and furniture company, seeks a Retail Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer to advance design development of kitchens and wardrobes in showroom and project contexts.

You will collaborate with the Sales Executive, produce moodboards, layouts, technical drawings, and presentations, and supervise site coordination to ensure design intent is realized with high client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail design for kitchens, wardrobes, and furniture showrooms (minimum 2 years).
• Site supervision and installation follow-up experience.
• Strong knowledge of Metron and/or Virtuo.
• Good knowledge of Photoshop; rendering software proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs and translate into high-quality design concepts aligned with showroom standards.
• Develop kitchen and wardrobe projects with layouts, finishes, materials, and functional solutions.
• Create moodboards, concept visuals, and project presentations; prepare technical drawings and documentation.
• Present proposals to clients and support sales meetings without pricing or closure duties.

The company focuses on providing premium furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, lighting, and bespoke interior solutions, working with some of the most renowned international (mainly Italian) design brands.

The company operates as both a luxury showroom and a project partner, collaborating with architects, interior designers, developers, and private clients to deliver complete FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) solutions for residential and commercial spaces.

Its positioning is strongly oriented toward the luxury segment, combining Italian craftsmanship, contemporary design, and tailored services to create fully customized living environments.

In addition to retail, the company is involved in turnkey interior projects, managing everything from product selection to space design, with a strong emphasis on aesthetics, functionality, and personalized client experience

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Retail Kitchen & Wardrobe Designer to join the Retail Design Team and will be responsible for the design development of kitchens and wardrobes within a showroom environment. The role works in close collaboration with the Sales Executive, who manages pricing, negotiations, and contract closure.

This is a design-driven role, with approximately 30% client-facing presentation responsibility, combined with technical follow-up, site coordination, and installation support, ensuring full consistency between design intent and final execution and a high level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Project Development

• Understand client needs and translate them into coherent, high-quality design concepts aligned with brand positioning and showroom standards


• Develop kitchen and wardrobe projects, including layouts, compositions, finishes, materials, and functional solutions


• Create moodboards, concept visuals, and project presentations


• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, and complete project documentation

Client Presentation & Design Support

• Present design proposals to clients in a clear, professional, and engaging manner


• Illustrate showroom products, technical features, and customization options


• Support the Sales Executive during client meetings, without handling pricing, negotiations, or sales closure

Showroom Presence & Client Interaction

Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills

• Maintain a professional and well-groomed appearance


• Show a high level of attentiveness to clients' needs and expectations


• Create a welcoming, professional, and trust-driven showroom experience


• Support and coordinate with the installation team during site management and installation phases


• Ensure on-site execution matches approved designs and technical drawings


• Resolve site-related issues while respecting original design intent


• Ensure final client satisfaction through quality control and supervision


• Prepare and transmit orders to manufacturers for cabinets, accessories, and technical components


• Ensure accuracy of measurements, specifications, materials, and configurations


• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and Installation teams Keep accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
