Job summary

Flynn and Chase in Dubai seeks an Associate for its Restructuring and Special Situations advisory team. You will work on complex mandates across the GCC and wider MENA region, including restructurings, refinancings, and capital-raising transactions.

You will build detailed financial models, analyse debt structures, prepare client materials, and coordinate diligence with senior bankers and external advisers. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, or related fields.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and financial‑statement analysis.
• Understanding of debt structures, capital markets and credit agreements.
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills with attention to detail.
• Fluent English; Arabic would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of restructuring, refinancing, recapitalisation and special‑situations assignments.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including three‑statement models and liquidity forecasts.
• Analyse capital structures, debt documentation and financing options.
• Prepare client presentations, board materials and transaction documentation.
• Coordinate diligence processes with management and advisers.
• Support negotiations with lenders, shareholders and investors.
• Conduct company and market research; assist origination and pitch prep.
