Job summary

Client of Aventus Global Talent is looking for a Banking Associate Solicitor to join their Dubai office. This position allows you to work with distinguished partners on various transactional banking, finance, and restructuring matters in the UAE region.

The ideal candidate will be an English/Common Law qualified solicitor with 4–6 years of post-qualification experience, solid background in a Legal 500 law firm, and experience in transactional law and restructuring. A competitive, tax-free remuneration package is offered.

Job Description

Banking Associate Solicitor to join the Dubai office of an international law firm. This role offers the chance to work closely with a well-regarded partners on a broad mix of transactional banking, finance and restructuring matters across the UAE and wider region. The practice advises financial institutions, corporates and government-related entities on a range of banking matters including corporate lending, real estate finance and acquisition finance on both a conventional and Sharia-compliant basis.

It also has a strong restructuring and insolvency offering, acting across distressed debt situations, consensual restructurings and formal insolvency processes. The team acts for a strong regional client base including leading UAE banks, advising both lenders and borrowers as well as on selected private credit matters.

Qualifications

• English / Common Law qualified solicitor with 4–6 years post-qualification experience.
• Solid experience at a Legal 500 listed law firm in the Middle East or UK.
• Transactional experience and some exposure to restructuring or distressed situations.
• Looking to take on a broader role within a growing Dubai practice.
