Job summary

RecruitMe Plus is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Supervisor for a premium dining and entertainment venue in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. You will lead floor operations, supervise service staff, and ensure exceptional guest experiences during peak evening hours.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in restaurant operations, 2+ years in a supervisory role, and a track record of managing high-volume shifts on weekends. Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant operations.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or team management role.
• Experience in premium casual dining, upscale restaurant, lounge, or restaurant-entertainment venue in Dubai.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Flexible to work late-night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily front-of-house operations and ensure efficient evening service.

With a strong reputation built over more than 4 years, the venue attracts a diverse clientele and enjoys particularly busy weekends and vibrant weekdays.

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and hands-on Restaurant Supervisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands how to deliver outstanding guest experiences while maintaining smooth restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Restaurant Operations & Floor Management

• Supervise daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service throughout the evening.
• Coordinate the service team during busy shifts, particularly weekends and special events.
• Monitor table arrangements, guest flow, reservations, and service efficiency.
• Ensure the restaurant is fully prepared before opening and properly managed through closing.
• Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and reservations teams to ensure seamless coordination.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and operational excellence.

Guest Experience & Service Excellence

• Ensure every guest receives attentive, professional, and personalized service.
• Build relationships with regular guests and contribute to customer loyalty and repeat visits.
• Handle guest requests, complaints, and special arrangements promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a visible presence on the restaurant floor, especially during peak hours.
• Anticipate guest needs and ensure consistently high service standards.

Team Supervision & Leadership

• Lead, motivate, and support waiters, runners, and other front-of-house staff.
• Conduct pre-shift briefings and communicate service priorities, reservations, and special events.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and constructive feedback.
• Ensure team members follow service procedures, grooming standards, and restaurant policies.
• Step in and actively support the team during busy service periods.

Sales & Performance

• Encourage effective upselling of food, beverages, and signature menu items.
• Support the management team in achieving revenue and guest satisfaction targets.
• Monitor service efficiency and identify opportunities to improve the guest experience.
• Assist with daily reporting, POS operations, and billing accuracy.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant operations, including at least 2 year in a supervisory or team management role.
• Previous experience in a premium casual dining, upscale restaurant, lounge, or restaurant-entertainment venue in Dubai.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume restaurant operations, particularly during weekends and peak evening hours.
• Strong understanding of food and beverage service standards, guest relations, and restaurant operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant reservation management.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexibility to work late-night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong command of English; Arabic is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within Dubai's premium dining or nightlife hospitality scene.
• An established understanding of the expectations of Dubai's international and VIP clientele.
