Job summary

Tortilla Restaurant is hiring a Service Crew member to deliver warm, attentive dining experiences. You will greet guests, take orders, serve meals, check satisfaction, and ensure cleaning and safety standards are maintained.

Candidates should have strong communication, a friendly personality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team, with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training will cover menu details and POS usage.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a waiter or in customer service preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail in order taking and serving.
• Knowledge of menus and ingredients.
• Team player with flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift trays.
• Basic math for payments and giving change.
• Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers warmly on arrival.
• Present menus and provide detailed dish/beverage information.
• Assist customers in menu selections and answer questions.
• Provide attentive service throughout dining experience; anticipate needs.
• Take accurate food/beverage orders and enter into POS.
• Check dishes for quality and presentation before serving.
• Handle payments, process checks, and manage cash accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining area and stations.
• Upsell additional products and services where appropriate.
• Attend trainings; stay updated on menu changes and promos.
• Collaborate with team to gather guest feedback and improve service.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and restocking.
