Job summary

Ecojob in Abu-Dhabi UAE is seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to lead day-to-day operations, oversee staff scheduling and development, manage inventory and customer service, and monitor financial performance.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, a hospitality background (degree preferred but not required), and the ability to train a diverse team while ensuring food safety and adherence to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field (preferred but not required)
• Proven experience in managing a restaurant or similar hospitality environment
• Ability to effectively manage staff in a diverse multicultural environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant including staff management, scheduling, inventory control, customer service and financial management.
• Ensure that all staff members adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Establish and maintain a positive working environment for employees by providing training and feedback.
• Ensure that all food safety regulations are followed in accordance with local health codes.
• Monitor restaurant performance against pre-established metrics such as sales goals, cost control metrics and customer satisfaction.
• Develop marketing strategies to promote the restaurant’s brand within the local community.
• Develop relationships with vendors to ensure quality products at competitive prices.
