Job summary

Shang Palace in Abu Dhabi, part of Shangri-La Group, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, uphold luxury Chinese dining standards, and drive guest satisfaction.

The role requires 5–7 years F&B experience with 2–3 years in a managerial position, fluency in Chinese and English, and strong commercial acumen. We offer professional growth and competitive benefits in a diverse hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Chinese and English with excellent communication.
• Diploma or bachelor’s in hospitality management or related field.
• 5–7 years in F&B with 2–3 years in a Restaurant Manager role.
• Experience managing a Chinese restaurant or Chinese specialty outlet.
• Strong commercial awareness and revenue management.
• Training in Food Safety/HACCP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of Shang Palace to ensure luxury service.
• Lead, coach, and develop the restaurant team.
• Monitor revenue, costs, inventory, and financial targets.
• Build relationships with guests and handle feedback professionally.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef to promote Chinese cuisine and beverage pairings.
