Job summary

The Dubai EDITION in Downtown Dubai is seeking a Restaurant Manager for Italian cuisine to lead all F&B operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will supervise staff, train and coach teams, manage budgets, monitor service standards, and uphold food safety and beverage quality. This role requires solid UAE F&B leadership experience and a passion for creating distinctive dining journeys.

Qualifications

• 2 years of UAE experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areas.
• High school diploma or 4 years UAE experience in food and beverage, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.

Responsibilities

• Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted lines and to the highest standard.
• Supervises and manages employees.
• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers.
• Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
• Describe and ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for each guest.
• Observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
• Maintains service and sanitation standards in the restaurant, and room service areas.
• Monitors ambience/atmosphere (e.g., lighting, music, table-top, etc.) restaurant concept, time of day, etc.
• Monitors compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Monitors compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards, and procedures, including food handling and sanitation standards.
• Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
• Manages daily operations so that customer expectations of quality and standards are met daily.
• Monitor revenues and expenses.
