Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Resident Electrical Engineer to supervise electrical construction and installation works in Abu Dhabi for TAQA projects. You will monitor compliance with drawings, specifications, TAQA standards, and safety procedures, delivering quality workmanship on time.

Based in Abu Dhabi, you will lead supervision of HV/MV/LV systems, review submittals, coordinate with civil, mechanical and SCADA teams, and supervise QA/QC activities while adhering to LOTO and HSE policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is required.
Professional engineer certification or equivalent is an advantage.
10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering supervision.
Experience on TAQA ADDC, TRANSCO, DEWA or major utility projects.
Strong background in EHV/HV substations, transmission & distribution networks.

Responsibilities

Supervise electrical works including HV/MV/LV systems and substations per TAQA standards.
Review shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, and project specifications.
Coordinate electrical works with civil, mechanical, SCADA and other disciplines.
Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings.
Provide technical support during inspections by authorities and utilities.
