IHG Hotels & Resorts through Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina seeks a Reservations Assistant to maximize hotel occupancy by securing and inputting reservations. You will support guest satisfaction by upholding brand standards and handling VIP requests with precision.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of progressive reservations experience in a 4–5 star Dubai hotel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in reservations in a 4–5 star Dubai hotel.
• Strong knowledge of rate structures and reservations systems.

Responsabilités

• Download bookings from external reservation systems.
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours of operation, and local area & attractions.
• Ensure all VIP and special requests are handled efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain full knowledge of rates, room types, hotel product and competition.
• Check daily correspondence before arrival to ensure information is documented.
• Monitor no-show and pending reservations.
• Review reservations for the next two weeks and inform the sales team to fulfill leads.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and apply rate management.
• Check pending visas or expiring visas and plan accordingly.

We have an exciting opportunity for you as Reservations Assistant to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As a Reservations Assistant you are responsible to achieve best possible results in terms of maximizing hotel’s occupancy by terms of getting and inputting reservations. To ensure guests satisfaction and loyalty through quality guest service considering of the brand standards and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

• To download bookings from external reservation systems
• Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities, hours of operation, and local area & attractions
• To ensure all VIP and special requests are handled efficiently and accurately
• To have full knowledge of all rates, room types, overall hotel product and hotels primary competition
• To check correspondence on a daily basis before arrival date and ensure all relevant information is acquired and fully documented
• Check the no show record as well as pending reservation
• Check the system on reservations for next two weeks and inform the sales team to fulfilsales leadsaccordingly
• Show complete product knowledge, understand rate structure and applyrate management
• Check on pending visa or expiring visa’s which need to exit the country

The ideal candidate must 1 to 2 years of progressive work-related experience in the same rolein a 4* or 5* city hotel in Dubai and has strong capabilities in handling technicality of revenue generating mediums & organizing, detail-oriented and, with ability to work under pressure of deadlines and ever-shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Also must be a team player, have strong interpersonal skills, and work well independently as well as part of a team, flexible attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
