Job summary

Kempinski Hotel in Dubai seeks a Reservations Agent to act as the primary contact for room reservations and to maximize requests and bookings. English communication is essential, and previous experience in a luxury hotel setting is preferred.

Responsibilities include daily review of reservation accuracy, rate compliance, VIP arrivals, and adherence to Kempinski service standards, with interest in internal credits and upsell initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years’ experience in a similar Reservations role.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Customer-focused with a luxury service mindset.

The incumbent of this position will serve as the main contact for room reservations at the hotel and is responsible to materialize the maximum number of requests and reservations.

• Review daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability.
• Ensure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to Kempinski service standards.
• Follow internal credit policy.
• Follow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors.
• Spot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals.
• Follow the internal up-sell programme for Reservations department.
• Perform any other duties as assigned to them by management.

Skills

Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar position Preferably in an international, luxury five-star hotel English - excellent communication skills Should be result and quality driven.
