Job summary

Eurostar Rent-A-Car in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled collections specialist to manage outstanding balances and ensure timely payments. You will collaborate with Finance, Rental, Sales, and Operations to resolve discrepancies and minimize overdue receivables.

The role requires 2–5 years in collections, strong English communication, and proficiency in MS Office; Arabic is preferred. This on-site position offers opportunities across our UAE network with reporting responsibilities and efficiency

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• Experience: 2–5 years in collections, accounts receivable, or credit control; car rental experience preferred.
• Technical Skills: MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel; Speed System knowledge is an advantage.
• Languages: English fluency required; Arabic preferred.

Job Purpose

Responsible for monitoring customer outstanding balances, following up on overdue rental payments, and ensuring timely collection of receivables in line with company policies and agreed payment terms.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts, outstanding balances, overdue invoices, and receivables ageing.
• Follow up with customers via phone, email, and WhatsApp to secure timely payments and meet collection targets.
• Track payment commitments and follow up on delayed, bounced, and pending payments.
• Coordinate with Finance, Rental, Sales, and Operations teams to resolve payment discrepancies and outstanding account issues.
• Communicate account balances and payment obligations professionally while maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Escalate overdue, disputed, and high-risk accounts to management and support legal recovery proceedings when required.
• Issue payment reminders and collection notices in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Provide outstanding balance and payment status updates to the Sales team before lease-end or vehicle off-hiring.
• Maintain accurate customer ledger records, collection activities, payment commitments, and follow-up updates in coordination with Finance.
• Prepare daily and weekly collection reports, ageing summaries, and overdue account updates for management.
• Ensure compliance with credit control procedures, maintain confidentiality of customer financial information, and support improvements in collection efficiency.
• Perform other relevant duties assigned by management in line with business requirements.

• Monthly collection target achievement.
• Reduction in overdue receivables.
• Timely collection within agreed payment terms.
• Resolution of overdue accounts.
• Accuracy of collection reports and ledger updates.
