Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced User Insights Manager to help train AI models on professional documents and slides. This fully remote role offers flexible weekly hours (5–20+ hours) and a compensation of $70/hour.

You will conduct and synthesize research, craft polished outputs, and guide study design for AI-driven workflows. The ideal candidate brings ownership of the full study lifecycle, excellent written communication, and expertise in translating data into actionable insights and product

Qualifications

• 4+ years conducting customer or user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) with ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide to insight synthesis.
• Fluency with thematic coding methods, survey design/statistics, and translating raw research data into usability test findings decks and journey map documents.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create, evaluate and refine AI-generated documents, spreadsheets and slide decks across core workflows.
• Synthesize feedback and translate findings into actionable product recommendations.
• Develop journey maps, research briefs and screener criteria for studies and tag insights for repositories.
