Job summary

Capital.com, a leading trading platform expanding globally, seeks a Senior Product Owner to build the new Financial Investigation Unit. You will own the roadmap for investigation case management and customer offboarding, leveraging AI to speed up insights and turn decisions into reliable workflows.

You will collaborate closely with Investigators, Compliance, Operations and Engineering to shape this capability from the ground up and, over time, grow the team running it.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product ownership or product management with end-to-end roadmap ownership.
• Strong financial crime experience across investigations, AML, fraud or offboarding.
• Track record building workflow/case-management products for operational users.
• Experience shipping AI or automation that reduces manual work.
• Ability to write precise requirements and work with engineers on complex workflows.
• Strong analytics with data-driven priority setting.
• Excellent stakeholder management with Compliance and control owners.
• Experience building or growing a product team (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise the product roadmap for financial investigation case management and customer offboarding.
• Translate investigator needs into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead the development of AI and automation to assemble evidence and support analysis.
• Ensure outputs are traceable and subject to human review and approval.
• Define approvals, dependencies, sequencing and exception handling for offboarding workflows.
• Collaborate with Engineering on testing, rollout and monitoring.
• Measure quality metrics and drive improvements without rushing to faster closure.
• Feed audit findings and recurring issues into the roadmap.
