Job summary

Capital Com SV Investments Limited is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead fraud prevention and transaction monitoring within the financial crime strategy. You will translate threats into product requirements, develop detection rules and work with Engineering, Data Operations and Compliance to deploy controls.

The role emphasizes applying AI to improve detection, ensuring data quality, and coordinating across multiple product teams while managing stakeholders and rolling out changes safely.

Qualifications

• 5 years in product ownership or product management at senior level.
• Strong financial crime experience covering fraud and money laundering.
• Hands-on experience building detection capabilities such as rules, models or transaction monitoring systems.
• Experience using AI or automation to reduce manual alert review.
• Strong data skills: understand data sources, reliability, and use historical data for evaluation.
• Experience releasing changes to live controls safely with testing, staged rollout, monitoring and rollback.
• Excellent stakeholder management, including working with Compliance and control owners through approval processes.
• Experience building or growing a product team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the product roadmap for fraud prevention and transaction monitoring.
• Translate fraud threats and risk scenarios into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Lead the development of rules, models and preventive controls with Engineering, Data Ops and Compliance.
• Apply AI and machine learning where they improve detection and case handling.
• Establish reliable data inputs for detection and identify data gaps to address.
• Evaluate controls using historical data and realistic test scenarios.
• Deliver changes with approved rollout plans and monitoring including rollback if needed.
• Measure performance after release and iterate to reduce fraud while minimizing customer friction.
• Coordinate delivery across product teams and control owners, making priorities and dependencies clear.
