Job summary

Jobgether, in partnership with a UAE-based client, seeks a Finance & Accounting Expert for a remote contractor role. You will design multi-step FP&A tasks, financial reporting, audits, and reconciliations, translating professional expertise into structured, objective tasks.

You’ll create instructions, rubrics, supporting materials, and clear evaluation criteria, ensuring tasks are reliable and gradable. The engagement starts soon and runs about 15 hours per week on a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years hands-on professional experience in FP&A, financial reporting, auditing, reconciliations, accounting, or closely related field.
• Experience developing or applying structured review standards (audit programs, checklists, rubrics).
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze information across multiple financial documents and data sources.
• Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail; translate judgment into objective criteria.
• Strong written English skills for precise instructions and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic, multi-step finance and accounting tasks based on practical workflows (FP&A, reporting, audits, reconciliations).
• Develop clear task instructions and objective grading rubrics for consistent evaluation.
• Create challenging scenarios requiring professional judgment and sound financial reasoning.
• Prepare or source supporting materials (spreadsheets, GL extracts, financial statements, policy docs).
• Review tasks for clarity and gradability; flag ambiguities that cannot be reliably assessed.
• Deliver approved tasks on schedule while maintaining quality and consistency.
