Job summary

The Origin Guild is seeking a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to oversee financial operations in the United Arab Emirates. The role emphasizes accurate records, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning within a remote work setting.

You will lead budgeting, reporting, and cash flow management, coordinate with external auditors, and provide senior management with actionable financial insights to drive profitability and growth while maintaining strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent are an advantage.
• Previous experience in financial management, accounting, financial control or related role required.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations, accounting activities, and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and periodic financial summaries.
• Develop and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure integrity of accounting data.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger activities, and reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, financial procedures, and risk management practices.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support financial planning, cost control, and resource allocation to improve business performance.
• Monitor financial risks and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax advisers and other stakeholders as required.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, tax requirements and financial regulations.
