Job summary

Jobgether, acting on behalf of a partner, is seeking a Developer Advocate based in the United Arab Emirates to connect with developers through technical expertise, community engagement, and practical education.

You will represent developer needs across conferences, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and online communities, creating tutorials, demos, code samples, and articles that clarify data extraction, APIs, and AI-first workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in developer advocacy, developer relations, or related technical role.
• Established presence within relevant developer communities.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and data extraction.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Interest in web data extraction and related technologies.
• Experience communicating technically to diverse audiences.
• Proven content creation and public speaking experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization at developer conferences, meetups, community events, podcasts, webinars, and other industry forums.
• Identify speaking, sponsorship, and community engagement opportunities aligned with goals.
• Prepare and deliver technical talks, workshops, and demonstrations for developer audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, community leaders, and partner tech teams.
• Grow a network of external advocates to share experiences with web data and APIs.
• Engage with developers across social media, forums, and open-source communities.
• Create technical content (tutorials, articles, videos, code samples) to aid adoption of tools.
• Demonstrate approaches to web scraping, data extraction, API integration, and web data challenges.
• Write technical articles for company blogs and third-party publications.
• Identify opportunities to contribute to developer communities and open-source projects.
• Represent developer perspective in marketing and product decisions.
