Job summary

Bybit is seeking a mid-level Regulatory Quant & Intelligence Specialist to join its Regulatory Compliance function. You will model regulatory reasoning into structured decision systems and design AI-enabled workflows for compliance operations, spanning licensing, onboarding, surveillance and governance.

This role partners with Legal, Product and Engineering to embed regulatory requirements into products and tools.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in regulatory compliance, financial services law, crypto/fintech, or related role.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulation (MAS, AUSTRAC, FCA, MiCAR, ADGM or similar regimes).
• Demonstrated ability to build structured, tech-supported workflows using Python, scripting, or no-/low-code platforms.
• Experience with LLMs, APIs, workflow orchestration or data/analytics platforms; comfortable iterating prompts and evaluation metrics.
• Excellent communication to bridge Legal, Compliance, Engineering and Product; explain complex logic to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Regulatory Decision Modelling: convert legislation and policy into structured decision frameworks and scoring models.
• AI-Enabled Compliance Workflows: prototype AI-powered workflows for licensing, onboarding, surveillance and incident management.
• Quant Analysis and Evaluation: build simple models to assess regulatory risk and scenario outcomes.
• Regulatory Research and Intelligence: perform structured research across key jurisdictions and codify rules for internal use.
• Governance and Documentation: maintain model assumptions, limitations, and audit trails with cross-functional teams.
