Job summary

Deriv.com in Dubai is seeking an experienced engineer to build scalable compliance systems that stay ahead of regulatory changes. You will own NLP monitoring, onboarding, AML, and fraud workflows, while guiding governance and auditability across RegTech components.

You will mentor teammates, translate obligations into tooling, and help scale automated regulatory intelligence and watchlists across jurisdictions.

• Shipped production compliance systems in real-world settings.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into tooling, governance, and audit trails.
• Mentor teammates and lead through ambiguity with clarity.

Responsibilities

• Design and build regulatory monitoring and intelligence components.
• Develop onboarding, AML, and fraud workflows using microservices and rule engines.
• Evaluate RegTech integrations and lead deployments for KYC, monitoring, and sanctions.
• Govern data and risk models with auditability baked in from the start.
