Deriv.com in Dubai seeks a Compliance Technology Specialist to build systems for regulatory monitoring, AML, and fraud detection. You’ll design microservices and NLP pipelines, replacing manual reviews with automated workflows that scale with transactions.

You’ll translate regulatory obligations into tooling, governance, and audit trails, while extending RegTech capabilities across GDPR, ISO 27001, and DORA. You mentor teammates and lead through ambiguity in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Build the regulatory radar by aggregating rule changes across jurisdictions and generating actionable alerts.
• Replace manual review with automated onboarding, AML, and fraud-detection workflows on microservices and rule engines.
• Translate regulatory obligations into tooling, governance, and audit evidence upfront.
• Evaluate and integrate RegTech, AI/ML, blockchain, and digital identity tools into KYC, monitoring, and sanctions screening.
• Extend blockchain compliance capabilities: crypto monitoring and counterparty risk scoring.
• Govern data with automated governance aligned to GDPR, ISO 27001, and DORA with auditability.
• Model AI-driven risk and simulate fraud and operational risk for human interpretation.
