Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Manages individual treatment in assigned area, ensuring high standards of care are provided.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement and review care provided to patients in an organized manner.
2. Address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families.
3. Follow established Nursing Department policies and procedures.
4. Maintain and update patient documentation and medical records according to hospital policies.
5. Ensure the confidentiality of patient records.
6. Administer medications as per doctor's orders.
7. Assist in patient recovery and discharge planning.
8. Follow reporting protocols within the Nursing Division.
9. Take responsibility for professional medical practice and participate in ongoing education.
10. Attend ward/unit meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
11. Demonstrate CPR skills and knowledge of fire and safety protocols.
12. Maintain patient privacy and ensure infection control standards are met.
13. Assist physicians with procedures such as Bronchoscopy and PFT.
14. Keep records of MSDS and HAZMAT in coordination with the FMS team.
15. Comply with international standards, DHA guidelines, and Joint Commission International standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• Current licensure in the home country and DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification nursing experience.
• BLS certification.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
