Registered Nurse
Job Summary:
Manages individual treatment in assigned area, ensuring high standards of care are provided.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and review care provided to patients in an organized manner.
- Address the physical, psychological, and social needs of patients and their families.
- Follow established Nursing Department policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update patient documentation and medical records according to hospital policies.
- Ensure the confidentiality of patient records.
- Administer medications as per doctor's orders.
- Assist in patient recovery and discharge planning.
- Follow reporting protocols within the Nursing Division.
- Take responsibility for professional medical practice and participate in ongoing education.
- Attend ward/unit meetings and participate in quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrate CPR skills and knowledge of fire and safety protocols.
- Maintain patient privacy and ensure infection control standards are met.
- Assist physicians with procedures such as Bronchoscopy and PFT.
- Keep records of MSDS and HAZMAT in coordination with the FMS team.
- Comply with international standards, DHA guidelines, and Joint Commission International standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
- Current licensure in the home country and DHA license to practice in Dubai, UAE.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification nursing experience.
- BLS certification.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
