Job summary

NMC GROUP SERVICES. is seeking an experienced nurse in Abu Dhabi to provide comprehensive patient care in clinical and home settings. The role includes documentation, medication administration, wound care, and coordination with physicians and families.

The nurse will monitor vital signs, manage IV therapies, and support patients with tracheostomies, dialysis, and ventilator care while ensuring infection control and quality care standards. Arabic language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Basic Life Support training is required.
• Critical care qualification is preferred.
• Pediatric qualification for pediatrics RN is advantageous.
• ACLS certification for adults is desirable.
• PALS certification for pediatrics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepares clinical and progress notes and coordinates services as a liaison between physicians, staff, and family.
• Counsels clients and families to meet nursing needs and participates in inservice programs.
• Monitors and records vital signs and reports abnormalities to treating physicians.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors IV infusions and parenteral therapies.
• Cares for clients with tracheostomy, gastrostomy, and colostomy; supports ventilated patients.
• Delivers nursing care, including for patients with pacemakers and peritoneal dialysis.
• Provides care for patients with hemiplegia, paraplegia, Bells palsy, CP, terminal illness, and elderly patients.
• Ca res for newborns, pre- and post-partum mothers; home and facility-based care.
• Delivers simple exercises to aid ambulation and accompanies clients to social activities and treatment facilities.
• Cares for wounds to prevent pressure ulcers and monitors healing progress.
• Records medical events, procedures, and parameters; reports observations to supervisor or doctor.

• Caring of clients with physically challenged and those who need special care at home or at their educational facility
