Job summary
Planet is seeking a Director of Sales, Middle East, to lead the regional sales organization from a remote UAE base. You will drive the GTM strategy for national security, defense, and government sectors, build executive relationships, and position Planet’s Earth observation platform as essential for mission-critical operations.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years of revenue growth, deep defense domain expertise, and a track record of leading high-performing teams across the Middle East, including
Qualifications
- 8+ years of revenue-growth leadership in defense, government, or complex enterprise sales.
- Proven ability to build and scale high-performing sales teams.
- Deep experience with defense procurement frameworks and regional markets in the Middle East.
Responsibilities
- Lead regional GTM strategy for the Middle East; drive revenue growth across sovereign defense and government sectors.
- Build executive relationships across Ministries of Defense, Intelligence Agencies, and prime contractors.
- Recruit, coach, and retain elite sales talent; scale regional footprint.
- Collaborate with Government Affairs, Product, Engineering, and Legal to align capabilities with opportunities.
- Coach teams on MEDDPICC, pipeline governance, and win strategies.
- Partner with Pre-Sales and Solutions Engineering for technical wins and post-sales alignment.
