Job summary

OBT Group, based in Dubai, is seeking a Business Process Coordinator to drive the implementation, adoption, and reliable daily operation of the Transportation Management System (TMS) and related logistics processes across Africa and the Middle East. The role collaborates with country teams, Group IT, and Operations to standardize processes, train users, resolve issues, and improve logistics workflows.

Qualifications

1–3 years in freight forwarding/logistics operations or related roles.
Practical understanding of transport workflows; exposure to a TMS/ERP is preferred.
Ability to document processes, train users, and work with operational data.
Structured, hands-on, service-oriented, and able to work across countries and functions.
Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Support TMS implementation and rollout in assigned countries, including testing and data preparation.
Monitor TMS usage and system performance; coordinate issue resolution with teams and providers.
Provide user training and refresher sessions to ensure successful adoption.
Maintain SOPs, work instructions, maps, and training materials for logistics processes.
Identify gaps and improvement opportunities; document findings and support corrective actions.
Assist with system configuration, testing, release implementation, and validation of changes.
Support data quality and management through checks and follow-up.
