Job summary

The Regional Financial Controller at CMA CGM in Abu Dhabi will drive the performance analysis of the regional network, ensure quality financial information, and act as the primary liaison between Head Office Finance and local entities. The role involves coordinating with CFOs, overseeing audits, closures, and dividends, and strengthening internal controls across the region.

You will support cost control activities, tool development and reporting automation, and participate in year-end budgeting.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate level, + 5 years, preferably from a Business school.
• Ethics, integrity, and respect for the confidentiality of information.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and planning/organization capabilities.
• Managing performance, autonomy, adaptability, and effective communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as the role involves interaction with numerous internal and external departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Control subsidiaries' financial performance, including audits, monthly closings, and dividends distributions.
• Guarantee a strong internal control environment.
• Ensure correct linkage with Shared Service Centers (FiCOM and GBS) in respect of target operating models, enhance efficiency over the network, and promote a cost-saving mindset.
• Contribute to the animation of the Finance network.
• Support cost control department on ah-hoc studies / tool & reporting automation.
• Support in year-end budget exercise.
