Job summary

CMA CGM is seeking a VIE to join the Abu Dhabi Regional Operations team, driving operational excellence through data analytics and performance management. You will map and benchmark processes across port operations and feeder networks, develop KPI dashboards, and support fleet planning and cost-control initiatives.

The role offers autonomy, prioritisation of multiple tasks, and regular senior-management reporting to enable strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in maritime studies, supply chain, data science, business analytics, industrial engineering or a related field.
• Two to three years of relevant experience is expected.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau; knowledge of process-improvement methodologies and maritime intelligence platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator who is entrepreneurial, adaptable and genuinely interested in the maritime industry and MEA region.

Responsibilities

• Operational Excellence: Map, analyze and benchmark processes across line operations, port operations and feeder network management; identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Performance Management: Build and maintain a KPI framework, dashboards and reporting tools; produce monthly efficiency reports for leadership.
• Fleet and Network Planning: Support vessel allocation, fleet utilization and capacity planning; monitor port stays and deviations from plan; develop scenario models.
• Competitive Intelligence: Maintain intelligence on competitor services and use industry platforms to provide market insights to teams.
• OPEX and CIP Monitoring: Maintain live cost dashboards and budget variance reports; conduct port-cost benchmarking and cost forecasting.
• Regional Development: Provide analytical support for new corridors and regional business opportunities; develop business cases for new services.
