Job summary

CMA CGM in Abu Dhabi seeks a V.I.E. to join the Regional Operations team, blending operational excellence with data analytics to drive performance and strategic decisions. You will lead analyses, develop KPI frameworks, and support fleet planning and regional development initiatives.

Due to the V.I.E. programme, eligibility includes EU/EEA nationality and age 18-28. The role emphasizes autonomy, cross-functional collaboration and strong communication in a maritime context.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Maritime Studies, Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Eligible for the V.I.E. programme: EU/EEA nationality and aged 18-28 at the start of the assignment.
• Advanced Excel and proficiency in Power BI or Tableau.
• Knowledge of process-improvement methodologies and maritime intelligence platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with autonomy and organisation to manage multiple priorities.
• Confident communicator who is entrepreneurial, adaptable and genuinely interested in the maritime industry and MEA region.

Responsibilities

• Map, analyse and benchmark processes across line operations, port operations and feeder network management.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive operational KPI framework, dashboards and reporting tools.
• Support vessel allocation, fleet utilisation and capacity planning across feeder and intra-regional services.
• Maintain structured intelligence on competitor services and ports across MEA corridors using industry platforms.
• Maintain live cost and CIP dashboards, run weekly budget variance reports and support cost forecasting.
• Provide analytical support for new corridors, trade-lane expansion and regional opportunities.
