Job summary

Abbott in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a Regional Finance Controller for MEAP to steer financial planning, analysis, and governance across multiple countries.

You will partner with area leadership to deliver regional goals, manage the monthly close, ensure internal controls, and drive automation and process improvement while maintaining compliance with local regulations and OFAC considerations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership experience in healthcare/retail.
• Proven success managing multi-country operations and diverse business models.
• Strong understanding of MEAP healthcare markets and business environments.
• Effective leader with strong people management, coaching, and development skills.
• Experience driving business transformation and change in complex markets.
• Strong compliance, governance, and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial direction and leadership for MEAP affiliates.
• Meet all financial reporting requirements with timely, accurate analysis for senior management.
• Lead budgeting, planning, analysis, and reporting activities for MEAP.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly financial close and internal controls across MEAP.
