Job summary

CMA CGM is seeking a Regional Financial Controller in the United Arab Emirates to analyse regional financial performance and ensure high-quality financial information. You will act as the primary liaison between Head Office Finance and local entities, interfacing with the CFO and team to maintain strong internal controls and efficient financial processes.

The role covers audits, monthly closings, dividends, and collaboration with Shared Service Centers FiCOM and GBS.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate level education in relevant field.
• 5+ years experience, preferably from a business school.
• VIE open to applicants aged 18 to 28 who are European citizens.
• Ethics, integrity, and confidentiality of information.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and planning/organizational capabilities.
• Autonomy, adaptability, and effective communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and interaction with multiple departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

The Regional Financial Controller is pivotal in analysing the performance of the Regional network of entities ensuring the quality and consistency of the financial information produced You will serve as the primary liaison between the Head Office Finance Department and the local entities where your contacts will include the CFO and their team

Responsibilities

• Control subsidiaries financial performance including audits monthly closings and dividends distributions
• Guarantee a strong internal control environment
• Ensure correct linkage with Shared Service Centers FiCOM and GBS in respect of target operating models enhance efficiency over the network and promote a cost-saving mindset
• Contribute to the animation of the Finance network
• Support cost control department on ah-hoc studies tool amp reporting automation
• Support in year-end budget exercise

Specific Requirements and skills:

• According to French law, the VIE is only open to applicants aged 18 to 28 years old who are European citizens.
• Postgraduate level, + 5 years, preferably from a Business school.
• Ethics, integrity, and respect for the confidentiality of information.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and planning/organization capabilities.
