Job summary

Rohde & Schwarz in Dubai is seeking a Finance Analyst to support payments, supplier and intercompany processes, and month‑end closes. The role offers exposure to VAT and internal audits, with opportunities to improve financial controls and reporting across MEA entities from the Dubai hub.

You will work closely with Finance and Operations, using SAP and Excel to ensure accurate postings, timely payments, and data-driven decision support in a dynamic regional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit or controlling.
• Hands-on exposure to an ERP environment; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel capability with lookups, pivots and data reconciliation; Power Query/Power BI is advantageous.
• Progress toward ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, CMA or equivalents is advantageous.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Handle payments, banking and expense administration; ensure accuracy and policy compliance.
• Support intercompany reporting and netting reconciliations.
• Own end-to-end preparation and processing of supplier, employee and intercompany payments.
• Validate payment requests against invoices, POs, approvals and policies.
• Prepare payment batches and reconcile bank accounts; ensure segregation of duties.
• Support month-end close with GL reconciliations, accruals and reporting.
• Assist VAT returns and liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales/Projects to clarify financial matters and drive process improvements.
