Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a Financial and Payroll support specialist to assist the HRMS function in Dubai. The role covers financial accounting, reporting, month-end closings, and payroll oversight for expat staff, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and DIFC regulations.

The candidate will contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, advising on FX and tax matters while collaborating with regional finance teams and auditors. This is a full-time position based in Dubai.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in management accounting and analytical roles.
• Experience in preparing budgets and forecasts.
• Experience of providing financial support in a consulting business.
• Experience of handling audits and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide ad hoc financial support to HRMS department as required.
• Support month-end and year-end close and IFRS compliance.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Analyse financial performance and report variances against budget and forecasts.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and internal/external audits.
