Job summary

ROHDE & SCHWARZ GmbH & Co. KG in Dubai seeks a Finance Analyst to support MEA operations. You will handle payments, intercompany reporting, month-end close and VAT, while partnering with Sales, Projects and Service to provide timely financial insights.

The role requires a bachelor’s in finance or related field, 1–5 years’ experience, strong Excel and SAP experience, and English fluency. You may visit other MEA offices (Saudi, Qatar) and Germany as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
1–5 years of finance, accounting, audit or controlling experience.
Hands-on ERP experience; SAP experience strongly preferred.
Advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivots, formulas) and familiarity with Power Query/Power BI.
English fluency; pursuing ACCA/CIMA/CA/CPA advantageous.

Responsibilities

Process supplier, employee and intercompany payments; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Support intercompany reporting and netting reconciliations.
Own end-to-end preparation and processing of payments with proper documentation and approvals.
Validate payment requests against invoices, POs, terms and policies.
Prepare payment batches in ERP and banking platforms with proper controls.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve unmatched items.
Assist month-end close including GL reconciliations and accruals.
Prepare VAT returns and support audits.
Partner with Sales, Projects and Service to provide financial insights.
Identify opportunities to simplify or automate finance processes.
